The Role

As a Consultant, Advisors Deploy Program Management, you'll make a significant impact by helping clients drive measurable value. You'll apply proven, accredited change skills and domain expertise to partner with clients and:

  • Deliver new products and strategies to market smoothly and efficiently
  • Successfully implement complex technology assets and deliver challenging transformation programs
  • Strengthen clients' internal skills, knowledge, and experience in critical areas
  • Transform client processes and optimize their management practices

Deploy: Execution-Oriented Client-Facing Competency

Deploy is a new suite of consulting solutions designed to respond to fast-evolving customer needs for execution support. With a dual mission, we de-risk the entire client/asset journey from implementation to adoption, usage, and product evolution. As a Consultant, you'll manage individual projects with minimal supervision, including tracking metrics, handling complex analyses, and preparing communications to report back to clients and internal leadership.

Your Responsibilities

You'll develop practical recommendations, contribute to team discussions on analysis implications, and work alongside clients' staff on each project, assisting with implementation tasks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing multiple small and large projects with high values and risk
  • Identifying resources and assigning responsibilities, tracking and forecasting effort, and reporting on expense vs earned value
  • Developing effective working relations with client program delivery personnel
  • Identifying client challenges and bringing ideas on opportunities to leverage Mastercard and/or Data & Services capabilities to the attention of the Client Business Leader
  • Establishing yourself as a strong 'brand ambassador' for Mastercard and Data & Services
  • Strong communication skills to present relevant program information to management and stakeholders
  • Effective problem solver, independently identifying risks and issues, suggesting mitigating actions and potential solutions
  • Managing time, budgets, and team members, planning, coordinating, and organizing tasks and activities

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
  • Planning to pursue recognized professional accreditation (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP))
  • Fluent local office language and English required, other languages desirable
  • Exposure specifically in payments and/or retail banking or merchants preferred
  • Comfortable with significant client interaction and interest in building relationships
  • Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required
