Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Specialist to join our team at Nitel. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional employee experiences and is looking for a challenging opportunity to grow their career.

About the Role

This Human Resources Administrator position plays a vital role in supporting the HR team by providing hands-on support to employees. You will be responsible for navigating through recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits, and training, ensuring a winning experience for every Nitel team member.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain and update employee data in the HRMS system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  2. Generate reports from the HRMS to provide crucial data to people managers and the payroll contractor, ensuring accurate processing of employees’ time off and related benefits.
  3. Assist employees with HRMS inquiries and provide training on HRMS functionalities.
  4. Support new hire orientation, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  5. Manage the offboarding process for employees separating from the organization while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  6. Collaborate with corporate HR to administer employee benefits programs and other employee perks.
  7. Assist employees with benefits inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure accurate enrollment and termination of benefits.
  8. Help drive corporate culture that aligns with Nitel’s values and prioritizes employee engagement.
  9. Evaluate and maintain compliance with applicable labor laws, regulations, and company policies in all HR activities.
  10. Respond to reference checks and verifications of employment status.
  11. Contribute to assigned HR projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ progressive HR experience.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal).
  • Strong people skills and an incredibly high standard for safeguarding confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to handle employee concerns or conflicts with empathy and diplomacy.

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000-$80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
