We are searching for an Administrative Assistant to join our team at the office of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) - US Embassy in Costa Rica.
The Administrative Assistant will support the INL Police and Corrections program by maintaining awareness of key issues related to Costa Rica's efforts to strengthen police capacity, training, and corrections systems.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, knowledge of business and management principles, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively with governmental, public, and private sector representatives and local community members.
Key responsibilities include providing administrative support, conducting market research, developing inputs for government cost estimates, and drafting statements of work and other pre-award documents.
The selected candidate will also participate in source selection and contract management activities, including evaluating a contractor's performance and maintaining electronic files up to date.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work independently on projects and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
Requirements include a minimum of five years of progressive experience in administration and management, a valid Costa Rican driver license B1, and English FSI level 3/3.
