We are seeking a detail-focused Sales Analyst to join our Sales Performance Management department at Moody's Analytics. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for partnering with the Sales organization and other critical sales support functions to ensure accurate and timely crediting of sales transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain territory management processes to ensure accurate crediting definitions and assigned accounts.
- Provide excellent customer service to the sales team, leveraging a case management platform to implement changes and respond to sales team inquiries.
- Analyze complex sales orders, ensuring each transaction is classified correctly in Salesforce.com for commissions calculation and sales reporting.
- Identify patterns, trends, and potential issues in sales data, preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Partner with the Business Systems team to ensure transaction dataset accuracy in Salesforce.com, maintaining data hierarchies for account information.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a financial analysis or reporting role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or comparable CRM platform.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and highly developed interpersonal skills.
