Sales Account Manager

As a Sales Account Manager at Micro Focus, you will play a crucial role in supporting and expanding the company's installed base. Your primary goal will be to drive wallet share growth and achieve assigned product quotas. To succeed in this position, you will need to build customer confidence in our remote sales capabilities, from procurement to senior levels of customer management.
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining existing customer relationships and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed assigned quotas
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales processes
- Providing exceptional customer service and support to drive loyalty and retention
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- 4-6 years of selling or account management experience, preferably in the IT industry
- A proven track record of sales success, including a demonstrated ability to move leads through the entire sales process independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong consultative relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- A thorough knowledge of Micro Focus's portfolio and solutions, as well as the client procurement processes and key decision criteria for winning new and maintaining existing business
