**Job Summary**:

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow expert to join our team at Gsb. As a ServiceNow Configuration Management Specialist, you will be responsible for ServiceNow Service Mapping Activities and supporting ServiceNow Discovery activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of CMDB discovery and error resolution based on Service Mapping errors and issues
  • Enable 'ITOM Visibility Plugin' to populate the Certificate Inventory Management Application in ServiceNow
  • Initial Set-Up of system properties and CMDB tables
  • Discover and import certificates in CMDB (via url discovery, IP/Port discovery, from CA Trust)
  • Analyse and perform due-diligence over full scope of Certificates hosted over CA/URL/IP port
  • Communicate with Certificate Management Team and relevant stakeholders to validate & refine the construct as needed
  • Participate in regular internal and customer meetings as required, adding value as and when required

Technical Requirements:

  • Experience as a ServiceNow Service Mapping / Discovery SME
  • Good knowledge of Discovery, MID Server Architecture, Probes, Sensors, Patterns and Identifiers
  • Manages and improves ServiceNow Discovery and ServiceNow Services Mapping for inventory
  • Add/update/remove Discovery credentials, Discovery ranges and schedules
  • Should be able to troubleshoot issues with Discovery (Windows, Unix, Network devices, Storage, Databases, Cloud Services)
  • Works with Service Owners and SMEs to ensure that accurate resource discovered and maintained
  • Designs enhancements/improvements for the maturity of the CMDB and Configuration Management process and translates them into business requirements
  • Monitor CMDB health and resolve conflicts between data sources. Interpret Discovery logs and data to diagnose issues
