We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Software Engineer to join our Development team in Granadilla, Costa Rica or Medellín, Colombia, or fully remote. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge software applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale software applications using Java 8 or above.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and implement solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, ensure high-quality code, and adhere to best practices.
- Develop and maintain automated tests using JUnit 4 or above.
- Maintain and improve existing software systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.

- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge base.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years of experience building software applications.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java 8 or above.
- Proficiency in Git/Mercurial/other code version control systems.
- Familiarity with Maven/Gradle/Ant build tools.
- Experience with Spring Framework.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, etc.).
- Familiarity with containerization (OpenShift/OpenStack/Docker/Kubernetes/Rancher).
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
