About the Role:

ServiceNow is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist - Performance and Availability to join our team. As a key member of our technical support department, you will be responsible for managing and resolving complex technical issues related to performance and instance availability. Your expertise will be crucial in mentoring junior team members and ensuring seamless customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and resolve complex technical issues related to performance and instance availability
  • Mentor junior team members to ensure knowledge transfer and consistency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in relational databases, Java, and scripting languages
  • Advanced Unix/Linux experience and knowledge of web application stacks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions
  • A commitment to quality and customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional results

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with dynamic HTML components and object-oriented programming
  • Knowledge of web services, data extraction technologies, and bi-directional integrations
