The Role
We are seeking an experienced OPI Trainer to facilitate the delivery of training classes and programs for over-the-phone interpreters and customer service agents. The successful candidate will have excellent facilitation skills, with the ability to train and work with individuals who speak English as a second language.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver instructor-led training (ILT) in-person and virtually, utilizing innovative instructional methods to meet learning objectives.
- Develop training schedules and corresponding lesson plans, partnering with stakeholders to create and administer learning assessments and evaluations.
- Coach, deliver feedback, and monitor trainee progress toward performance standards, ensuring a supportive and effective learning environment.
- Stay current with training best practices and new learning methodologies, analyzing training needs and recommending corresponding learning solutions.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer literacy skills, proficiency in MS Office products: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Previous team lead or supervisory experience a plus.
