Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Collections Specialist to join our team at Atom Soluciones. This role will be responsible for optimizing cash collections in the Americas, achieving quarterly DSO targets, and ensuring efficient account handling processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the collection team, driving performance and implementing company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and review collections issues, provide training to collectors, and handle interviewing, hiring, and staffing activities.
  • Partner with customer-facing teams to build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Travel to meet with key stakeholders to resolve significant collection issues and optimize processes.
Qualifications and Experience:

8+ years of relevant working experience in a finance function, preferably in a matrixed international company with complex reporting practices and exposure to various reporting systems.

Thorough knowledge of collections-related laws, willingness to travel to customer sites, and considerable experience with customer negotiations.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Fluent spoken and written English, with additional languages a plus.
  • Working knowledge of credit reporting agencies, Oracle, and SAP systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
