Job OverviewThis role supports our facility in Heredia, Costa Rica, under the guidance of the Accounts Payable Manager. As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and preparing documents to support the Company's Accounts Payable processes;
- Reviewing and analyzing AP inquiries or escalations from internal and external processes;
- Supporting issue resolution for potential duplicates or entries processed by mistake into AP accounts;
- Performing AP accounts reconciliation;
- Reconciling vendor statements, researching, and correcting discrepancies;
- Maintaining files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices;
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or other relevant area;
- Fluent spoken and written English; and any other language is a plus;
- 2+ years of experience in the field, with GR/IR account reconciliation and ERP systems such as SAP & Ariba systems knowledge being highly desirable;
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Customer focus, problem-solving, and analytical thinking;
- Initiative and proactivity;
- MS Office Suite skills;
