**Job Summary:**

This position is responsible for general accounting functions, including addressinbg customer billing inquiries, preparing month-end journal entries, and processing vendor invoices. You will also have the opportunity to analyze customer sales data to support marketing initiatives and drive business growth.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing billing inquiries and resolving discrepancies.
  • Prepare accurate and timely month-end journal entries.
  • Process vendor invoices and prepare payment batches for approval.
  • Support marketing initiatives by analyzing customer sales data.
  • Place inventory purchase orders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Review and analyze customer/vendor/transaction data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

**Competencies:**

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong initiative to solve problems and create solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Motivated, self-starter with strong attention to detail.
  • Understanding of general accounting principles.

**Requirements:**

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in general accounting functions.
  • Experience in A/P and A/R processing preferred.
  • QuickBooks experience preferred or other related accounting software.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish in both written and oral communication.
