About the Role
The Stakeholder Sustainability Engagement Manager plays a critical role in promoting Moody's stakeholder-oriented corporate sustainability initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing communications strategies to engage stakeholders, create messaging and narratives, and develop materials for events and toolkits.
Main Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Developing and implementing communications strategies to promote Moody's stakeholder-oriented corporate sustainability initiatives;
- Driving sustainability stakeholder engagement through various initiatives;
- Creating messaging and narratives for internal and external audiences;
- Developing materials for events and toolkits for targeted engagement with different stakeholder groups;
- Simplifying technical materials, particularly on environmental sustainability, into drafts that can be understood by multiple stakeholders;
- Raising Moody's profile as a sustainability leader with internal and external stakeholders; and
- Supporting the development and execution of broader internal and external communications plans.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Familiarity with sustainability topics, trends, and reporting, including environmental, social, and governance;
- Impeccable English writing and editing skills;
- A track record of positive contributions towards building the external or internal sustainability profile of an organization; and
- 4+ years of relevant experience in a field related to sustainability or communications.
