About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager of Customer Kickstart Initiatives to join our Digital Delivery Operations team at Hewlett Packard. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing new kickstart pilot projects for MCS customers and driving successful project outcomes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Position new kickstart project opportunities with customers and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Kickstart Project Management: Oversee the delivery of kickstart project outcomes, ensuring timely completion and alignment with customer expectations.
  • Customer Closure Presentations: Develop and deliver comprehensive project closure presentations to customers, highlighting key achievements and future prospects.
  • Pricing Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide costing support for new MCS opportunities and Proof-of-Concepts.
  • Pre-Sales Communication: Engage in pre-sales communication with customers to explain MCS monitoring processes and delivery models, facilitating a deeper understanding of our services.
Key Deliverables and Accountabilities
  • Kickstart Projects Completion: Ensure all kickstart projects are completed within budget and schedule agreements with customers.
  • Kickstart Project Presentations: Provide high-quality project presentations to customers, showcasing successful project outcomes.
  • Conversion Rate: Drive projects that lead to signed HP MCS service contracts, demonstrating a strong conversion rate.
Working Relationships
  • Internal:
    • Executive Sponsors and Stakeholders: Build and maintain effective relationships with executive sponsors and stakeholders to drive project success.
    • HP IT Management and Operational Contacts: Collaborate with HP IT management and operational contacts to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Regional Pursuit Teams: Work closely with regional pursuit teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
    • Sales/Pre-Sales Teams: Engage with sales and pre-sales teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
    • PS GBU Teams: Collaborate with PS GBU teams to drive project success and expand our offerings.
    • CS Delivery Global Teams: Partner with CS delivery global teams to leverage best practices and enhance our services.
    • CS Delivery Regional Teams: Work with CS delivery regional teams to drive project success and expand our presence.
    • Poly Delivery Teams: Collaborate with Poly delivery teams to develop and execute delivery strategies.
  • External:
    • Commercial MCS Customers: Foster strong relationships with commercial MCS customers to drive project success and expand our offerings.
    • External Delivery Partners/Suppliers: Partner with external delivery partners and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree: A degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Virtual Team Experience: Proven experience working in virtual team environments.
  • Fluent English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Foreign Languages Knowledge: An asset but not mandatory.

Business and Technical Skills
  • Program Management Expertise: Proven program management expertise and certifications (PgMP, LSS).
  • Service Delivery Management: Practical service delivery management expertise, focusing on Poly services.
  • Commercial PC Business Acumen: Strong commercial PC business acumen and Poly hardware knowledge.
  • Financial Management: Experience in financial management and modeling.
  • SOAR Process Knowledge: Familiarity with SOAR process and custom deals costing.
  • Account Transition Mgmt/DRA: Experience in account transition management and DRA.
  • Service Management (ITIL): IT Service Management (ITIL) expertise and ITSM tools knowledge.
