Job Description:The Business Development Representative (CISCO) for our CCA (Caribbean Central America) Organization act as internal support to the vendor business lead to drive profitable market share growth through business planning execution, pipeline management and deep sales floor and customer enablement and engagement."Let's Achieve Great Outcomes.
TD SYNNEX is the partner that helps unlock business results for all."What You'll Do:Engages with the Business Unit and/or General sales floor, running desk training, tool training and driving product mind shareSupport development of strategies and ideas to assist business growthOwnership for building an accurate and detailed pipeline of deals within the Company's CRM system (Compass)Weekly reporting to the vendor on sell-out activity, tracking performance of promotional activities and the deal pipelineSupport execution of business plans as required by the business development managerSupport execution of marketing plans as required by the Marketing ManagerIdentify training opportunities within customers and internal sales teams and address accordinglyThe point of escalation for customer care issues from the sales floorProvide direction for the development and maintenance of web tools such as InTouch, Licensing Online (LOL) as well as vendor micro-sites and online configuratorsCommunicate product information, pricing, special offers and promotions to customers and the internal sales teamsRun call out days on the sales floor and/or the Business Unit sales teamsPromote and sell Tech Data's e-business services through the sales floor and/or Business Unit sales teamsEngage directly with customers depending on role requirementsPerforms other additional duties as assigned.What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).2+ years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or vendor management, preferably in the IT or technology distribution industry.Experience working with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Compass) and sales reporting tools.Bilingual (English & Spanish) required.Skills & Competencies:Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.Excellent communication & presentation skills to engage with sales teams, customers, and vendors.Proven ability to manage pipelines and drive revenue growth through proactive business development strategies.Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with strong problem-solving skills.Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to sales and vendor engagement.Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and business development teams.Technical & Industry Knowledge:Familiarity with IT products, services, and solutions (preferred but not mandatory).Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).Experience working with digital sales tools and e-commerce platforms is a plus.Other Education/Certifications:CCNA, CCDP, CCDA, CCNP, CCIE Preferred.Working Conditions:Professional environment (Remote).Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities.Ability to travel occasionally for vendor meetings or events.What's in it for You?Elective Benefits: Our programs are tailored to your country to best accommodate your lifestyle.Grow Your Career: Accelerate your path to success (and keep up with the future) with formal programs on leadership and professional development, and many more on-demand courses.Elevate Your Personal Well-Being: Boost your financial, physical, and mental well-being through seminars, events, and our global Life Empowerment Assistance Program.Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: It's not just a phrase to us; valuing every voice is how we succeed.
