**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

This role is part of Business Development Team in GBS, and it is responsible for implementation the Knowledge Management (KM) strategy, framework and tools needed to support a knowledge-based culture within GBS, as well as handling the Business Continuity Planning (BCP) process and ensuring it is embedded within existing and new GBS hubs in the Region, in line with BAT’s risk management framework and policies.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Support in implementation of KM Framework within GBS, ensuring all locations implement to the same ways of working
- Works closely with relevant teams and partners, up to and including Leadership Team, to ensure adoption and compliance to all elements of the Knowledge Management and Business Continuity framework, across all Hubs within the Region
- Promotes and ensures the global use of the existing Knowledge Management Tool(s)
- Ensure roll-out & implementation of KM strategy, framework, and tools across all Hubs within the Region
- Ensure implementation of action plans and operational strategy across all Hubs within the Region to achieve the business objectives in terms of Knowledge Management & Business Continuity Planning
- Actively drive the sharing of knowledge management across all Hubs within the Region and within HR functions in End Markets through KM Community of Practice
- Work together with Leadership Teams (up to and including GMs) and Functional Leads in existing and new GBS hubs in the Region on resolving knowledge management requirements, content and media used for communication
- Contribute to development and implementation of the Knowledge Management Strategy and scope considering business priorities, in the existing and new GBS hubs in the Region
- Promote a high-performance culture within KM & BCP team with the strive to increase quality and efficiency, to acquire a greater value crafted by the service
- Lead and continuously improve knowledge and information base in existing and new GBS hubs in the Region to make sure that all BAT users have easy access to effective and relevant information
- To ensure the subordinate personnel participates to occupational safety and health issues mandatory training sessions

**CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?**
- Have you worked before on Knowledge Management and/or Business Continuity process?

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree
- Minimum 2 year’s experience in Knowledge Management and/or Business Continuity
- Experience in sophisticated, matrixed, multinational organizations, with the ability to navigate complexity to deliver on time and in full
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, Excellent management skills, mentorship, and motivational skills
- Proactive, persuasive, and creative by challenging existing and introducing new insights, Team player with the confidence to take the lead, empower and guide others
- Experience in implementing change and project management
- Strong analytical skills and experience and using data to identify problems and implement solutions
- Good interpersonal skills, having the ability to connect with higher levels and other levels of staff in all departments and companies, both within the Group and outside

**BENEFICIAL**
- Strong knowledge, experience and understanding of FMCG/Shared Services business model
- Previous working experience with Microsoft O365 products (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, Teams etc.)
