Team & RoleServiceNow's Digital Technology (DT) organization leads the digital evolution of ServiceNow's business functions. The Strategy Realization Office (SRO) supports this evolution by providing Program Management services.We are seeking an individual to join us as a Principal Program Manager on the SRO team, where you will have a crucial role in planning and executing complex, transformational, cross functional programs that directly contribute to ServiceNow's corporate priorities. You will collaborate with talented global professionals, utilize ServiceNow's excellent Agile products, and take pride in driving outstanding results.What you'll be doing in this role:
  • Collaborate with Business, Product, and Engineering teams on complex, transformational, cross functional programs, guiding them from initial concept to final implementation.
  • Create program plans with deliverables spanning multiple teams and ensure their alignment.
  • Build trust with senior stakeholders (SVP, VP) by showcasing a can-do, collaborative attitude and leading teams towards success.
  • Work closely with product leaders to translate their vision into roadmaps supported by ServiceNow tools.
  • Oversee the generation and operationalization of product demand intake & prioritization process, ensuring that program deliverables & milestones align with the OKRs to drive value on investment.
  • Handle program risks, issues, and dependencies, and escalate hindrances to meet program objectives.
  • Provide transparent and direct communications on program status to stakeholders, sponsors. Simplify complex issues into clear, actionable executive-level updates.
  • Ensure compliance with processes, quality standards, and deliverables to achieve data-driven predictability in program delivery. Propose and implement enhancements where relevant.
  • Coordinate and facilitate cross functional meetings and workshops to align teams on business requirements, solutions, and delivery plans. Document notes, actions, and ensure completion.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation as necessary to promote best practices and leverage insights gained.
  • Establish and operationalize an effective program governance model.
  • Serve as a Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer to ensure consistency with established Agile and Scaled Agile processes.
  • Offer hands-on coaching to individual Scrum teams in various facets of scrum - daily meetings, planning, self-organization, collaboration, iterative development, workshops etc.
  • Leverage Scaled Agile (SAFe) or Agile digital execution and communication with multiple cross functional teams encompassing design, research, UI UX, Architecture, product management, and engineering.
QualificationsTo excel in this role, you should have:
  • 12+ years of experience as a Program Manager and Scrum Master in an enterprise software company.
  • At least 7 years dedicated to overseeing enterprise level software application development programs.
  • Experience managing complex, transformational IT programs that resulted in applications used by internal or external users.
  • The ability to navigate extremely complex, ambiguous, cross-functional environments and align teams to plans.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools. Familiarity with ServiceNow Agile products is advantageous.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Strong decision-making abilities based on data and business benefit.
  • Lean program management, continuous learning, adaptation, and improvement.
  • Enjoy working in a highly collaborative, matrixed setting.
  • High energy, self-motivated individual with a knack for learning new technologies and driving transformative change.
  • Comfortable presenting operating & governance models, program plans, status etc. to large audiences and senior executives in various formats.
  • Thrive in uncertainty with a proven history of creative problem-solving skills.
  • Lead by example with a willingness to tackle tasks that may exceed their scope to ensure successful completion.
  • Essential: Stakeholder management, Influencing, Executive communication, mentoring junior program managers
  • Preferred – experience on projects and programs that implemented Sales or Finance processes (Lead to Cash)
  • Preferred - Engineering or Product management background (in addition to strong program management experience)
