Job Description

Team & Role

ServiceNow's Digital Technology (DT) team spearheads the digital evolution of ServiceNow's business operations. The Strategy Realization Office (SRO) division plays a crucial role in supporting this evolution by offering Program Management services.

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join us as a Senior Program Manager and Agile Scrum Master within the SRO team. In this position, you will be instrumental in strategizing and executing intricate, cross-functional DT programs that directly contribute to ServiceNow's corporate priorities in the Go-to-Market / Sales domain. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with exceptional talent worldwide, utilize ServiceNow's cutting-edge Agile tools, and take pride in delivering excellent results.

What you will be doing in this role:

  • Collaborate with Business, Product, and Engineering teams on extensive cross-functional programs, guiding them from inception to completion.
  • Partner closely with product leaders to translate their visions into roadmaps using the ServiceNow toolset.
  • Take on a leadership role in the program to establish Product intake processes, prioritize tasks, align with OKRs, set milestones, deliverables, and determine success criteria for your programs to ensure value realization.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies of the program, escalating obstacles to meet program objectives.
  • Provide clear and honest communications to stakeholders and sponsors regarding program progress. Simplify complex issues into concise, actionable updates for executives.
  • Ensure adherence to procedures, quality benchmarks, and deliverables to ensure that your programs are executed predictably and backed by data.
  • Organize and conduct cross-functional meetings and workshops to align teams on business needs, solutions, and project plans. Document notes, action items, and follow through to completion.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation where necessary to encourage best practices and leverage insights gained.
  • Define governance and operational models for the managed programs. Introduce and embed these models for successful execution.
  • Act as a Scrum Master for one or more teams, ensuring alignment with established Agile and Scaled Agile methodologies.
  • Provide practical coaching to individual Scrum teams in various aspects of scrum practices such as daily meetings, planning, self-organization, collaboration, iterative development, and workshops.
  • Leverage Scaled Agile (SAFe) or Agile methodologies for digital execution and communication across multiple cross-functional teams including design, research, UI UX, Architecture, product management, and engineering.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, you need to have:

  • Over 10 years of experience as a Program Manager and Scrum Master in a corporate software environment.
  • At least 5 years dedicated to overseeing enterprise-level software application development programs.
  • Experience in managing complex IT programs resulting in applications used by internal or external users.
  • The ability to navigate complex, ambiguous, and cross-functional environments, mapping out teams and plans effectively.
  • Practical experience with Agile tools, with knowledge of ServiceNow Agile products being advantageous.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and influencing abilities.
  • Strong decision-making skills driven by data and business value.
  • Proficiency in lean program management, continuous learning, adaptation, and enhancement.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively in a matrixed setting.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach with a knack for grasping new technologies and driving transformative change.
  • Comfort with presenting operational and governance models, program plans, and status updates to large audiences and senior executives, whether in person, virtually, or via webinars.
  • Ability to thrive in uncertainty with a track record of innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Lead by example, being willing to take on tasks beyond your role's scope when necessary to ensure successful project completion.
  • Preferred - experience with projects and programs involving Sales processes (CPQ, CRM).
  • Preferred - Background in Engineering or Product management (in addition to robust program management expertise).
  • Soft skills - Stakeholder management, Adaptability & Flexibility.
