Americas Tax Risk

**Job Purpose**: **Job background**: - The position is a critical component of the Americas Tax R&C regional strategy, as it will allow to implement a more preventive / proactive approach rather than being just reactive to issues, - That strategy requires counting with updated information on relevant metrics making possible an ongoing monitoring, that will also help to pursue consistency within the region and inter regions. - Performing the function will require multiple interaction with the countries and other stakeholders in the R&C function, from NY with the Global Team, to the regional and country players in Finance-Control Initiatives, ORM, Internal Audit., etc. **Key responsibilities**: - Maintaining the Americas Tax R&C Dashboard with updated information on the defined metrics - Assisting in the preparation of the annual and quarterly Managers Control Assessment (MCA) for the s Americas Tax AUs. - Assisting in the recurrent and special data collection and analysist, and in the implementation of initiatives related to control issues or initiatives. **Development Value**: - Becoming an expert in the global R&C approach taken by the firm - Development of analytical skills - Work with professionals in a multicultural environment - Opportunity of professional growth thanks to internal trainings program and cooperation with Corporate Tax Department (USA) **Knowledge - Experience**: - _ Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting; Chartered Accountant, Audit, and/or IFRS certification a plus but not required. _ - _Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance (Control), Audit (internal and External) or any other Internal Control related areas. _ - _Previous tax experience is a plus_ - _ Daily work in international environment is a plus._ - _ Good understanding of control methodologies. _ - _Banking / corporate background a plus but not required._ - _ Familiarity with Citi’s Manager’s Control Assessment program or any other related First Line of Defense processes to ensure an effective Risk management and Control environment. _ - _Experience with the implementation and administration of Control policies._ - _ Daily work in international environment is a plus_ **Skills**: - _ Fluent English_ - _ MS Office literacy, especially MS Excel_ - _ Working with big databases, pivot tables, Knime, Power BI_ - _ Strong interpersonal skills and a team player_ **Qualifications**: - Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting; Chartered Accountant, Audit, and/or IFRS certification a plus but not required. - Good understanding of control methodologies. - Familiarity with Citi’s Manager’s Control Assessment program or any other related First Line of Defense processes to ensure an effective Risk management and Control environment. - Experience with the implementation and administration of Control policies. - Preferable to have work experience on US multinationals **Competencies**: - _Able to organize and prioritize own workload to accomplish variety of tasks within defined timelines._ - _ Ability to work with different deadlines within assigned priorities_ - _ Analytical skills _ - _Ability to generate and propose solutions to identified issues _._ - **Job Family Group**: Finance - **Job Family**: Tax - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
