**Role summary**

**What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?**
- Complete general ledger accounts reconciliations and follow-up on balancing items.
- Perform analysis of balance sheet accounts ensuring accounts are accurate, any suspicious transaction must be investigated and raised accordingly.
- Perform month-end activities accurately ensuring period is closed as per agreed timetable.
- Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports to allow end markets review and analysis.
- Connect with partners by solving issues, providing mentorship and promoting a customer focused culture.
- Review and update task level descriptions (if vital) to maintain knowledge within the team.
- Prepare and post journals ensuring business rules are aligned with end market requirements.
- Process daily bank statements and review line items have been recorded accurately in bank accounts.
- Process and maintain fixed assets module aligned with accounting standards and global policies.

**Accountabilities**
- Tasks processed within SLA agreed with end markets.
- Critical metrics are met and differences are handled effectively.
- Issues are brought up following partner concern process.
- Processes implement to RACM and Internal Controls.
- Achieved a high degree customer happiness at year-end.
- Continuous Improvement initiatives and quantify benefits once implemented.
- Trainings and development plans are reviewed constantly.

**Experience, skills, knowledge**

**Experience Required**
- At least 1 year of experience in R2R processes as General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation & Fixed Assets
- Shared service center experience

**Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required**
- Medium/Advanced knowledge in Power BI and transactional platforms (ERP, SAP).
- Alteryx - basic knowledge level
- Macros Knowledge and UIPath Knowledge - Desirable
- MS Office - Advanced level.
- Bring up issues and provide possible solutions to your line manager.
- Communicates fluently and clearly with stakeholders.
- Manage time and identify time constraints to be escalated for resolution.
- Able to assess risks when not completing tasks accurately or out of time.
- Analysis provided with accuracy and insights.
- Capable of presenting optimally with customers and provide solutions to timely
- Evaluate potential impacts in other areas and expose concerns to other before making decisions.
- Develop and propose new ways of working to improve processes.
- Propose new insights and constantly innovate in the current role.

**Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required**
- Technical Degree in accounting or finance background accounting or business administration
- English - B2
- Intermediate Portuguese level - B2 (Plus)
