Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with employees at all levels of the organization, promoting open communication and honest feedback, and handling investigations when required. About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to join our HR team. As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting the success of our employees and the overall growth of the company. You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with employees at all levels of the organization, promoting open communication and honest feedback, and handling investigations when required.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintains relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
* Promotes and fosters an environment of open communication and honest feedback
* Handles investigations when required
* Supports HR team projects and initiatives, including but not limited to annual performance reviews, compensation, employee relations, and training
* Provides general guidance and consultation on a variety of HR operational matters
* Interprets and educates employees on Code of Conduct, HR policies, and provides counseling on such policies as necessary
* Responsible for HR system data entry
* Prepares communications, job descriptions, employee queries, etc.
* Supports regional initiatives around Payroll and Benefits
* Performs other related duties and HR projects as required or assigned
Requirements
* Fluent in English (High Proficiency level)
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
* 2+ years of Human Resource experience
* Demonstrated understanding of Costa Rica HR practices, policies, and laws required, additional knowledge of Latin-American laws preferred
* Strong business, analytics, and HR acumen including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and initiative
* HR Analytics & Reporting: Experience working with Employee databases or systems
* Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
* Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines
* Must be detail-oriented and have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Strong customer service skills
