About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Representative to join our team in Costa Rica. As a key member of our sales organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Increasing direct local sales at assigned offices by prospecting potential clients, SMEs, and non-IATA agencies
  • Providing outstanding service to customers visiting our City Ticket Office (CTO) and via phone
  • Sales Representatives will also support contracted/managed agent and corporate customer experience by offering comprehensive service and sales support via Jetstream

Responsibilities include:

  • Achieving and exceeding established sales and ancillary goals
  • Proactively prospecting and qualifying new direct customers for the CTO
  • Participating in joint sales calls with the CTO Supervisor, Sales Department team, and airline partners
  • Frequent communication with CTO assigned customers, travel agencies, and corporate/PerksPlus accounts
  • Responsible for issuing/reissuing domestic and international tickets for travel on United Airlines and other airline partners

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of multitasking and prospecting skills.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • Sales, analytical, customer service, and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and flexibility with working shifts
  • 2+ years previous sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Valid Passport and U.S. Visa
Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $50,000-$70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
