Senior Technical Support Engineer

Splunk Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Support Engineer to join our global technical support organization. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical expertise and exceptional customer experience to our customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Provide outstanding technical support to Splunk customers, ensuring a positive and seamless experience.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Splunk's security products and related technologies, with a focus on Enterprise Security.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Create and maintain high-quality knowledge articles, following Knowledge-Centered Service principles and methodology.
- Collaborate with customers and product developers to reproduce issues, file bug reports, and drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in special projects and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- 5+ years of experience in technical support, system administration, or a similar technical role.
- Extensive experience with Enterprise Security and UNIX (Linux, NIX), LDAP, Windows, or Mac OS.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including network security, log analysis, authentication protocols, and network troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Python, Perl, and shell scripting, XML, HTML, or other scripting languages.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and customer issues.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and remain current with the latest industry knowledge.
- Prior experience with Splunk and security industry tools, such as Nessus, Sentinel, and other relevant tools.
- Knowledge of containerized technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with JSON, REST API, and similar technologies.
- Security industry certification (CISSP, CISM, GSEC, CEH, Security+).
