Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Functional Consultant for Financial Management to join our team in a project-based role. This position will focus on delivering exceptional consulting services in the areas of financial management and human resources.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement and deploy FreeBalance solutions utilizing our ISO 9001:2015 certified methodology.
  • Manage client expectations while promoting FreeBalance values and best practices.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of business requirements with clients and prepare storyboards for approval.
  • Configure and showcase FreeBalance software to illustrate the alignment between processes and solutions.
  • Develop acceptance test plans and oversee testing of the configured FreeBalance software/system with clients.
  • Create training materials and conduct user training sessions, including 'Train the Trainer' programs tailored to client needs.
  • Transfer knowledge to clients regarding project management, change management, and optimal use of FreeBalance solutions.
  • Oversee daily project operations, managing scope and ensuring timely delivery of quality outputs.
  • Utilize effective leadership skills to guide projects from inception to completion.
  • Provide insights to product management on functional matters and future product requirements based on client feedback.
  • Report on progress and deliverables to the Project Manager.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and team to meet all project milestones on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field such as Business Administration, Human Resources, or Financial Administration, along with significant experience in financial management.
  • A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in ERP software implementation, with a solid understanding of its functionalities.
  • In-depth knowledge of public sector budgeting, accounting, payroll, and human capital processes, including relevant regulations.
  • Proven expertise in deploying software applications, focusing on requirements gathering and documentation for software development projects.
  • Experience in configuring financial systems and HRIS, including customization to meet specific business needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with clients, fostering positive relationships and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with clients and colleagues at all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is essential, with proficiency in additional languages considered an asset.
