Cyber Security Incident Response Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Incident Response Lead to join our team at Experian. As a key member of our Global Cyber Incident Response Team, you will play a critical role in responding to and managing security incidents that impact our business.
Key Responsibilities- Incident Response: Respond to and manage security incidents in a timely and effective manner, ensuring minimal business disruption and impact.
- Threat Analysis: Analyze security threats and incidents to identify root causes and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including end-users, technical teams, and management, to ensure timely and accurate incident updates.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of incident response activities, including case notes, analysis findings, and containment steps.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful incident response and resolution.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance incident response efficiency and effectiveness.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
- Experience: 6+ years of experience working in a Security Operations Center or Cyber Security Incident Response Team.
- Certifications: Must have at least one certification involving incident response, ethical hacking, or cyber security (e.g. GCIH, GCFR, E|CEH, E|CIH).
- Skills: Strong knowledge of incident response and investigative methodology, as well as experience with common incident response and security monitoring applications (e.g. SIEM, EDR, WAF, IPS).
- Language: Fluent English language skills, with the ability to explain technical terminology.
