IT Security Project Manager Lead

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Project Manager Lead to join our team at Experian. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading multiple simultaneous global projects, with a strong understanding in information/Cyber Security and Technology projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage multi-year, multi-million-dollar projects and major strategic initiatives spanning multiple organizations, including third-party businesses.
- Develop, implement and maintain project management best practices.
- Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may supervise the activities of lower level personnel.
- Develop and composes business cases to support the acquisition of development of critical project components.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize information on project phases, task, duration, resources, and costs.
- Participate in developing plans, work breakdown structures, schedules, budgets, and resources assignments for projects that are subject to management review and approval.
- Act as liaison among internal and external stakeholders, business unit functional areas and project development teams to ensure effective project coordination among participating groups.
- Determine specific project deliverables, defines the process for the review and approval of deliverables, and specifies quality criteria for deliverables assessment.
- Define project scope subject to management approval, establishes the process for altering the scope, and responds to requests for changes to the scope.
- Build time estimates, develops project schedule, and addresses scheduling problems as they arise.
- Develop, maintain, publishes and distributes comprehensive project plans.
- Identify, mitigate and recommend alternatives on handling risks and issues that threaten the successful completion of the project within the deadline.
- Monitor and report project progress to objectives in timeframes, scope, quality, costs and risks.
- 10 + years of project management experience.
- 3 + years' experience in Cyber /Information security project management.
- Excellent knowledge of project management methodology and tools including software.
- Excellent knowledge of Cyber Security, Information Technology, Risk and compliance.
- Excellent knowledge of computer systems and processes and PC desktop applications.
- Excellent knowledge of legislation and regulations impacting business unit industry.
- Excellent knowledge of business unit products and operations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Proficient in MS project, Excel, Visio, Jira etc.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Experience with information security/Technology/Infrastructure projects.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Certified Scrum Master.
- Ability to travel.
This is a permanent remote home-based role in Costa Rica. No relocation available.
