This role will be responsible for creating engaging recreational activity agendas and advertisements using publishing software.
You will conduct inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment, informing your manager of low supply items.
As a key member of our team, you will encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities.
Your primary goal will be to promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
You will provide information to guests about available recreation facilities and activities.
A crucial aspect of this role is promoting the rules and regulations of the recreation facility intended for the safety and welfare of guests and members.
You will observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in accordance with local operating procedure in the event of an emergency.
An important requirement of this position is being aware of possible situations where guests are not able to safely participate in an activity and informing your supervisor/manager.
You will provide assistance to injured guests until the arrival of emergency medical services.
Cleaning and maintaining recreational equipment and supplies is also a key responsibility.
You will assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees; serving as a role model.
A critical aspect of this role is reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to your manager; completing safety training and certifications.
You will follow company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
Your goal will be to anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities.
Clear and professional communication is essential for this role, including speaking with others using clear and professional language; answering telephones using appropriate etiquette.
Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others is a critical aspect of this position.
You will process orders or transactions from customers and collect payment as necessary.
Ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards; identifying, recommending, and implementing new ways to increase organizational quality is a key responsibility.
You will read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print).
Visually inspecting tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects) is also required.
Entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems is a key task.
This role requires standing, sitting, or walking for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
You will move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds with assistance.
Grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, is a key responsibility.
Moving through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces is also required.
You will move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, is a key task.
This role may require performing other reasonable job duties as requested.
