We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Manager to join our US Payroll Escalations team at Amzn Support Srvcs Costa Rica. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the investigation and resolution of complex payroll issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving process improvements to enhance the employee pay experience.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team in investigating and documenting complex payroll issues, identifying root causes, and executing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with HR, Benefits, Time and Attendance, and other teams to ensure employee payment issues are resolved at the source and future payments are accurate.
- Analyze issues, patterns, and trends in escalations and report to leadership teams.
- Identify opportunities for process and quality improvements throughout escalation investigations and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
- Lead and contribute to projects aimed at improving employee pay experiences.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in US Payroll and customer service.
- Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt and PMP is an advantage.
- A proactive, high-energy attitude geared towards achieving continuous improvement.
- Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization.
