**Job Opening: Payroll Accountant**

**Start date**:ASAP

**Location**:Remote (permanent work from home)

**Client**: US company

**Hours**: US hours (EST)

**Salary range**:TBD - equal to or higher than market rates

**Tools required**: Computer, noise cancellation headset, second monitor, stable internet, and backup internet connection.
**Roles / Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the Payroll process for a large, growing multi-state company
- Has extensive knowledge of compliance regulations and legal requirements in multiple states within the United States and a thorough understanding of tax requirements and benefits in each state.
- Manage and process payroll for employees on a bi-weekly basis.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Review and reconcile employee benefits and deductions, including healthcare.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end payroll tax filling.
- Up-to-date with payroll regulations and industry trends

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a payroll accountant
- Expert with QuickBooks Online
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and reporting requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and spoken English communication.
- Thorough understanding of relevant accounting tools.
- Knowledge of payroll and accounting functions.
- Proven experience as a payroll accountant.
- Proven history of doing research and due diligence to learn state compliance and tax laws, as well as documentation of these findings
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
**Working with Limitlessli**:
- Remote work - home-based
- Environment must be quiet and professional.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ¢503,676.00 - ¢549,465.00 per month
