Overview: At TDCR Tech Data Costa Rica, we're seeking a skilled Linux Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Linux infrastructure, providing top-notch technical support to our customers, and collaborating with our team to resolve complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to customers via phone, email, or chat, ensuring they receive the assistance they need to resolve their issues.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Linux technologies and trends, applying this knowledge to improve our systems and services.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed documentation of technical issues, resolutions, and best practices.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, providing 24/7 support to our customers and ensuring seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Linux technical support or a related field.
  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and security.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
