Job Description: The IT Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Costa Rica Nexus office's IT services. Reporting directly to the Nexus IT Senior Manager, this position is responsible for managing senior business relationships, providing proactive solutions, and delivering high-quality support to meet the rapidly changing needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Project Management: Oversee the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of all IT equipment in the office, including laptops, meeting room AV equipment, printers, etc.
  • Team Development: Supervise and coach direct reports to ensure performance and professional growth.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate the repair and maintenance of office printers and other IT equipment with external vendors or landlords.
  • Budget Management: Proactively plan projects and prioritize daily operations to avoid conflicts and manage constraints.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership by creating an energizing and motivating environment for the team to excel in all areas.
  • Customer Service: Provide high-level customer service for office-based staff in a fast-paced environment, supporting laptops, desktops, smartphones, both in and outside the office.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with leadership, business service teams, external vendors, and technical staff.
