Job Summary

Cencora is seeking a skilled Credit Evaluation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our credit department, you will be responsible for performing credit evaluations for new and existing accounts, as well as maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough credit evaluations for new and existing accounts, utilizing available commercial trade, bank, and related reports.
  • Enter and maintain accurate data related to account openings, special projects, and vendor account setup.
  • Approve and process customer refund check requests within predetermined limits.
  • Assist management in resolving customer issues and participate in decision-making processes.
  • Communicate with external credit agencies to provide information regarding customer credit.
  • Maintain contact with internal and external customers to address credit and collection issues.
  • Train other associates within the credit department.
  • Communicate with other departments to improve processes.

Requirements

  • Broad training in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations, typically obtained through a two-year associate's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Minimum three to four years of directly related and progressively responsible experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of computers, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • SAP experience is required.
