We are seeking a talented Customer Support Excellence Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth through proactive issue resolution, product improvement, and community engagement.

About Our Team

Our Customer Service & Support (CSS) team is dedicated to building trust and confidence with every person and organization worldwide. We achieve this by delivering seamless support experiences that meet the evolving needs of our customers and partners. Within CSS, the Customer Presales & Retention, Microsoft Advertising Services, Partner Enablement, Store Sales & Support (CAPS) team supports a breadth of scenarios that include helping customers buy online at the Microsoft Store, advertising on Bing, supporting partners, and acquiring and retaining Small and Medium Business (SMB) customers.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Review, investigate, and resolve customer technical issues, collaborating within and across teams and leveraging troubleshooting tools and practices
  • Participate in communities with peer delivery roles and develop specific technical and professional proficiency to enable you to understand and resolve customer issues
  • Identify potential product defects and provide feedback to more senior engineers, contributing to Microsoft product improvements

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • 3+ years of experience in a customer support role
  • Excellent communication skills with both written and spoken English
  • Strong active listening skills and ability to adapt language according to customer personality, culture, and profile
  • Ability to control and influence conversation sentiment to ensure a positive overall outcome
  • Efficient response to a dynamic online environment and willingness to quickly consume new product and marketing information
