Job Summary:
As a key member of the Qualfon team, the Payroll Supervisor will be responsible for managing daily payroll activities, maintaining company payroll procedures and policies, and overseeing systems maintenance processes. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people and in stressful situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily payroll activities, including processing multi-state and global payrolls, garnishments, levies, and support payments.
- Maintain company payroll procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax regulations and annual W-2 forms.
- Oversee systems maintenance processes, including ADP payroll processing and data analysis.
- Coordinate communication between the payroll department and all company locations, ensuring effective internal customer service.
- Analyze processing methods and procedures, making suggestions for improvements and maintaining Corporate PTO accruals according to company policy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent education and experience.
- 2 years of payroll processing experience, including 1+ years of experience in processing multi-state and global payrolls.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people and in stressful situations.
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Office products, with experience in report writing and data analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and annual W-2 forms.
