Job Summary:

The Insurance Verification Agent role at Auxis involves ensuring timely and accurate updates of insurance policies in various databases, ensuring an efficient billing process for medical providers. You will play a key role in determining patient insurance status and coverage extent, and maintaining accurate patient accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review patient accounts for accuracy before submitting to outside collection vendors
  • Receive and review account change requests and update customer accounts accordingly
  • Update insurance plan information on customer accounts
  • Research vendor inquiries and respond promptly
  • Review correspondence in the CWF system and take necessary actions
  • Authorize affidavits related to patient billing as applicable
  • Ensure accurate vendor inventory reconciliation by completing reconciliations and updating I-Plans and placements as needed
  • Manage vendor onboarding and termination processes
  • Provide support during vendor transitions, including Medicaid Eligibility, Early Out, Primary, and Secondary agencies
  • Handle eRequest and correspondence from collection agencies
  • Respond to requests for research, contractual arrangements, audits, and other tasks

Requirements:

  • English-Spanish language proficiency (oral and written) at B2 level or higher
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of experience in data entry or customer service positions
  • A genuine interest in working with customers and providing high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service in high-volume environments
  • Presentation and politeness are essential
