The Quoting Representative will be responsible for developing and executing quoting strategies that meet the complex procurement requirements of business clients. This role demands a deep understanding of the quoting process, including eProcurement integration, contracting nuances, and advanced payment and reconciliation methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop customized quoting solutions that address the specific needs of each customer, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Amazon Business's products and services.
- Build and manage a book of business through solution-selling and digital prospecting tactics, focusing on creating long-term strategic customer relationships.
- Navigate the unique contracting and competitive requirements of diverse institutions, recommending quoting strategies that facilitate seamless procurement integration.
- Collaborate with clients across functional areas to understand their procurement processes and develop tailored quoting solutions.
- Coordinate with Amazon resources to ensure that quoting solutions meet the objectives of both the client and Amazon.
- Maintain a robust lead pipeline to achieve territory goals and actively map Amazon products and services to clients' primary objectives.
- Establish strong relationships with key internal operational contacts to ensure end-to-end communication and coordination.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
This role requires experience with eProcurement systems, advanced payment solutions, and automated reconciliation processes. A deep understanding of the unique procurement requirements and challenges faced by public institutions and businesses across various industries is also essential.
