About the Opportunity

Are you a skilled engineer looking for a challenging role where you can leverage your technical expertise to deliver exceptional customer support? As a Technical Support Engineer at Wind River, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides top-notch support for our cutting-edge IoT and embedded system devices.

We are seeking a talented individual with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for innovation. Your primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot complex issues in real-time embedded environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless resolution.

To succeed in this role, you should have a solid understanding of RTOSes, Linux, and Windows host environments. Experience with device drivers, board support packages (BSPs), and HW design is also essential. Additionally, you should be familiar with networking applications, core TCP/IP, multicasting, routing, and major processor families like PowerPC, Intel, RISC-V, and ARM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and professional support for customer issues, leveraging your expertise in embedded systems and software.
  • Develop deep insights into customer needs and preferences to deliver outstanding solutions.
  • Manage ongoing support cases and defects, ensuring high-quality results measured through CSAT, NPS, CES, and other internal KPIs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve Wind River's support processes.
  • Contribute content to knowledge bases to empower customers to solve similar problems independently.
  • Document problems for future reference, promoting self-service capabilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, Data Science, Physics, or related technical field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in customer support, preferably in an embedded systems environment.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience with AI/ML suites, Cloud-based applications, and SaaS platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Estimated salary range: $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
