Overview:

Dwellworks Costa Rica Ltd seeks a highly skilled Financial Operations Assistant to join its team. This role will provide critical support in managing accounts payable, ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze A/P invoices and accurately assign expense or other GL account codes.
  • Assist with monthly balancing of accounts payable to the general ledger.
  • Produce detailed reports for operating teams.
  • Process A/P invoices efficiently into Netsuite.
  • Evaluate W-9's for completeness and accuracy, assisting with annual 1099 generation and submission.
  • Manage weekly A/P disbursement checks as needed.
  • Ensure all A/P entries are accompanied by scanned invoice copies in Netsuite.
  • Verify period and amount billed by vendors against operating system records.

Additional Opportunities:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with the accounting department and other business units to implement new integrations from the operating system.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 internship or relevant work experience/classes.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and financial systems, with strong Excel skills.
  • Effectively work with others in a collaborative team environment and independently manage tasks.
  • Meet deadlines through efficient time management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per annum in US Dollars.
  • 5 additional days of vacation per year.
