The MA Business Planning department is a team of global professionals who provide stakeholders with accurate, actionable analysis and recommendations which further business insight to enable both operational, and strategic decision making.
This role will assist in developing interactive materials to deliver this analysis, improve the efficiency of workflows as well as to accelerate the integration of M&A activity into the wider MA business.
Role/Responsibilities
- The MA Business Planning (FP&A) team supporting Moody's Analytics is in search for a development focused, organized individual with exceptional communication skills assist in key financial projects.
Responsibilities include:

- Develop tools and reports to capture near real time analytics through operational efficiency and utilizing interactive dashboards
- Collaborate with rest of team to standardize sales and financial modelling efforts to harmonize reporting capabilities and promote best practice
- Consider and research emerging technologies to advance data modelling and forecasting capabilities

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree with 3 - 5 years of relevant experience within FP&A/Business Intelligence
- Experience developing and working with Business Intelligence tools
- Ability to develop interactive dashboards or financial models using macro, Business Intelligence tools, such as Power BI
- Intermediate to Advanced SQL skills
- Passionate and willing to learn new skills with high-level problem-solving skills
- Advanced English in both written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of accounting and financial statement reporting
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong understanding of workflows and proactive in process improvement
- Comfortable with adapting multiple systems and performing research
