If you are a driven professional with a passion for international transportation and a track record of success in business development, this is your opportunity.Our client, a company in the logistics industry located in the Coyol area, is looking for a professional to join their team as an International Transportation SupervisorJob Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to develop and enhance our international transportation business.
This role requires a strong focus on Operations, Finances, Sales, People, Systems, and Culture, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess industry expertise, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive growth and efficiency within the organization.Key Responsibilities:Ensure adherence to customer standard operating procedures (DLSOP).Review and support pricing requests, strategy, and RFQ management.Plan and facilitate team meetings, including huddles and monthly market intelligence discussions.Play an active role in transitioning new business and updating existing accounts.Drive department revenue in alignment with budget targets and management expectations.Support compliance efforts and employee training initiatives.Continuously evaluate and improve department process flow and efficiency.Implement system enhancements and process improvements.Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, including shipping lines, airlines, and trucking companies.Assist with employee evaluations, goal setting, and professional development.RequirementsRequirements: College/University degree or equivalent business qualifications.
Minimum of 3 years of industry experience.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Fluent in English (minimum B2 level or above).
In-depth market and competition knowledge.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Proven ability to manage teams of 5 or more employees.
Willingness and ability to work 100% on-site.
Compliance with company dress code.
Reliable transportation to and from company facilities.
Preferred Qualifications:Power BI experience.Black Belt or equivalent certification.Key Skills:Effective interpersonal and communication skills.Strong leadership abilities and team management experience.Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.Ability to train and mentor team members.
