Join the HR Employee Services team for the SJO Shared Services.
The hub is providing a multi-language capability to the internal customers, and is looking for an HR Employee Services Team Manager.
The role will have a strong focus on both operational delivery and effective team management ensuring outstanding levels of service to the internal customers and supporting the ongoing development of the services through effective Voice of the Customer feedback.
The Employee Services Team is working on and supporting key employee life cycle queries such as new starters, data management, absence management and pay.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead team working on and supporting HR administration processes,
- Managing individual team member performance and development,
- Ensure appropriate team coverage, scheduling monitoring and reporting upon key SLAs and KPIs,
- Deal with escalations from stakeholders and / or other teams to ensure that issues are addressed in a timely manner,
- Build effective relationships with regional and global stakeholders and/or 3rd party vendors,
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in written form with employees to explain and resolve queries and concerns,
- Actively seek customer feedback to improve levels of service.
About the team
- Portuguese as additional language preferred.
- 2+ years of experience of managing a team of 6+ people and/or Amazon Employee Services experience.
- Experience with HR processes and systems administration.
- Experience with reporting and analytics experience.
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Superior attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment to work in this rapidly changing HR environment.
- Ability to push back, foresee potential issues, and advocate for relentless improvement.
- Ability to positively influence small groups and individuals to drive resolution.
- Ability to work in international teams where team members are in different locations and belong to different cultures.
- Ability to work with confidential information.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize workflow daily and ensure service levels are achieved at all times.
