**Job Description**:
You will be part of a technical team chartered to maintain Data Center Fleet & Scale team Xeon Server Hardware platforms located in the Data Center and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory our site.
This role is critical to support, assemble, disassemble, and maintain top technology Xeon Server Hardware platforms to enable Software Developers to enable delivery of on-time high-quality Software launches of our server programs.
As a mindset will help to be open to learn new technologies, be results oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic and physical laboratory environment.
Ability to learn, adopt and implement techniques to maintain hardware platforms functional in a world-class hardware physical laboratory.
You will have the opportunity to build hardware platforms with the latest technology in the market.
The focus of this position is to provide deep dive hardware and platform technical coverage physically in a laboratory where the team has hardware platforms.
Will include Lab asset planning, inventory, tracking and build prioritization.
This position will be supported by Contractor Workers located in the lab.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field with 3+ years of below experience.
- 2-3 years of experience as a data center engineer, or similar as an Engineering Technician able to disassembly and reassembly of Personal Computers/Servers.
- Excellent in detail orientation and organization.
- Deep dive technical proficiency and troubleshooting working with Hardware Platforms, CPUs, Memories to be able to boot in a quick manner.
- Ability to create and deploy HDD images for most Windows and Linux OS'.
Execute ghosting procedures routinely.
- Ability to patch Hardware Platform with latest Software updates including BIOS, firmware, Operating Systems, etc.
Good understanding of Networking, Networks setup and related infrastructure.
- Execute test steps/plans from verbal and written instructions to verify PC /Server fundamental functionality.
- Own first and second level debug steps to repair malfunctioning printed circuit boards including PC motherboards.
- Work with Engineering to troubleshoot to root cause failing platforms.
May requires experience with test equipment, DVM, Digital Scopes, Protocol Analyzer, JTAGs hardware debugger tools.
- Upgrading internal system components, including CPUs, memory, hard drives, and network cables.
- Extensive experience in installing, monitor Lab operations maintenance including Equipment maintenance and calibration scheduling, piece part and tools inventory maintenance, general cleanliness, and safety configurations/protocols adherence.
- Advising on the procurement of new data center/laboratory equipment.
Management of escalations for orders and proper lab management.
- Advanced English Level.
Preferred Qualifications:

- In-depth knowledge of data center environments, servers, and network equipment.
- Ability to patch Hardware Platform with latest Software updates including BIOS, firmware, Operating Systems, etc.
- Remove and replace surface mount (down to 0402 sizes) and through-hole components on PCBs.
- Read schematics and board files to interpret component identification and placement for remove/replace actions.
- Modify PCBs to engineering specifications.
Interpret schematics and relate to board files to tap into specific signals and evaluate.
