PROJECT MANAGER III (REMOTE/HYBRID)

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES**:
This person will play a key role in facilitating our team’s ability to scale with the growth of the business, to work smarter not harder via suggesting process improvements, to manage the content curation of global partner data on VMware sites, and to help us broadcast our successes as a team via summarizing content-related achievements on a regular basis. Strong written communication skills and PowerPoint expertise will be required for those tasks.
- Act as a liaison between partner teams, VMware SMEs and our partner marketers so that the partner marketers are aware of key campaigns and messaging created by VMware core teams.
- Support partner marketers in adopting VMware campaigns and messaging for use with partner vehicles.
- Manage joint content development projects and third-party content developers as needed, engaging VMware stakeholders to gain content approvals.
- Project manage the content curation of the global partners within VMware properties, updating these pages as needed.
- Support team communications by producing updates and summaries of key accomplishments on a regular basis for use internally and within the broader stakeholder community.

Position may be located virtually in United States or in similarly time-zoned countries where VMware has a presence/ability to hire.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- 3-5+ years of relevant work experience in content or project management, marketing project management, partner marketing, product marketing, or similar functions in high-technology companies.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or relevant field of study
- Demonstrated success in marketing roles with a strong project management component
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Excellent PowerPoint skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, high-tech products/services required; enterprise software and hardware experience preferred, focus on Cloud or SaaS-based business highly desirable
- Ability to add value to content projects by suggesting joint messaging for new content
- Demonstrated experience in working with cross-functional teams in content creation process
- Excel at cross-group collaboration, creative thinking, problem solving and have a bias for action
- Motivated self-starter who adapts quickly in the complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business
- Strong project management skills with experience influencing others, gaining consensus and driving deliverables with individuals inside and outside the organization
- Team-oriented: enjoys a support role and sees their own success as reflected in the team’s
- Familiarity with Salesforce and other marketing software
