**Job Details**
**Goal**
Provide customer support for After Market Parts Team for Application Engineering Division.
**Essential Functions**
- Processes parts orders and orders changes to include price quotations, preparation and follow-ups on purchase orders, and confirmation of shipment dates.
- Uses manufacturing resource software to retrieve customer information, verifies inventory levels, and processes purchase order.
- Contacts customers on status of orders.
- Advises customers of schedule dates and changes. Provides price and availability to customers Obtains approval from buyers to ship items that are of limited quantity.
- Negotiates with buyers if lead times not acceptable to the customer.
- Assists in procuring part numbers and identifies bad part numbers.
- Works with purchasing agents on new parts, lead times and pricing.
- Locates parts from districts and plants for priority orders if not in stock at parts center.
- Reviews backlog order daily.
- Sends order to warehouse for shipping.
- Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile
- Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
**Required**
- 0-1 years of experience in a field / customer service support role or similar support position.
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
- Excellent diagnostic, problem solving, and an ability to learn quickly.
- Customer focused, exhibiting a strong desire to resolve issues to the customer’s satisfaction in a timely manner.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced support environment while serving a diverse group of internal and external customers.
