**Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?**

Product and Service Knowledge: Within the first 6 months, you will be expected to develop a comprehensive understanding of VMware's products, solutions, and professional services offerings. Familiarize yourself with the features, benefits, and use cases of our solutions to effectively communicate their value proposition to customers.

Sales Target Achievement: Work towards achieving or exceeding your assigned sales targets during the first 6 months. Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify leads, drive the sales cycle, negotiate contracts, and close deals. Actively manage your sales pipeline and provide accurate and timely sales forecasts to the management team.

Customer Engagement and Relationship Building: Engage with prospective customers, understand their business needs and challenges, and position VMware's solutions and professional services as valuable solutions. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and IT decision-makers, to establish trust and credibility. Conduct effective sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and ROI of VMware's offerings.
