Job Summary:
Reporting into the Corporate Development Director, the Corporate Development Associate will be responsible for representing the front-end of Vencora's acquisition activities such as: establishing contacts, building, and nurturing relationships with CEO's and owners of global companies. Our focus is to build a strong portfolio of businesses that are specialists in their own market

We are looking for a Corporate Development Associate to focus on selected verticals in Latin America.

The Company

What you will be doing
- You will drive our acquisition activities of sourcing and nurturing target companies by:

- Creatively identifying leads for vertical market software businesses meeting our strategic criteria and specific metrics
- Maintaining and building a proprietary database of industry contacts
- Demonstrating creativity, persistence, and credibility in reaching out to Owners, Operators, and C-Suite leadership
- Gathering target company information.

Skills You Will Bring

We are looking for someone that is driven to perform, is results-oriented, and has great attention to detail. You have excellent social skills, a professional demeanor, and are an energetic self-starter. You are inquisitive and intellectually curious by nature and enjoy forming and nurturing relationships with executives and thought leaders.
- Excellent academic performance in an undergraduate business degree. A Master’s Degree from a top tier School is a plus.
- Strong communication skills. Fluency in Spanish and English is necessary.
- Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
- 2-3 years of experience in a business development/lead generation role, ideally in a B2B environment.
- Ability to manage a pipeline of leads and exceed prospecting target quotas. You are highly metrics-driven and possess extensive experience with cold calling founders and c-suite executives to generate an effective acquisition funnel.
- Confident in presenting to C-suite executives and business owners.
- Experience working in M&A, software, or technology is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical, synthesis skills, and good business acumen.
- Professional attitude and a persistent and solid work ethic. Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team-oriented environment. High level of ownership and natural drive to take initiatives and get things done.
- Excellent teamwork spirit and ability to engage with remote partners/ colleagues and with people from different cultural backgrounds.
- Able to travel up to 20% of your time
