Human Resources Assistant
Purpose and Scope:
Provides clerical, administrative and technical support to the Human Resources function. Works under general supervision. Under supervision of the Manager the Administrative Assistant performs a wide range of routine to advanced administrative duties in support of a program, department, or manager(s). Acts as a liaison to internal and external contacts in a manner that promotes the professional image of the Company.
Essential Responsibilities:
1) Performs routine to advanced administrative tasks in support of the daily operations of the department.
3) Organizes and maintains paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, etc.
5) Arranges and coordinates details related to travel arrangements, expense reports, and departmental budgets.
6) Make arrangements for conferences and meetings; may assemble background materials, attend meetings and record proceedings as directed.
7) Reviews outgoing materials and correspondence for internal consistency and conformity with established procedures.
8) Orders and maintains supplies and equipment for department.
9) Assists with a variety of scheduled and unscheduled projects specific to assigned department/program.
10) Make everything process require for the Onboarding (orients new employees).
- Make arrangements for the recruitment process (Interviews, Phone screenings, Send Offer letters, request badge for new joiners, create the physical file for each employee and make sure that all the documents needed had been provided by the new employees).
11) Support internal and external related inquiries or requests.
12) Compile and maintain paper, digital and electronic records of employees.
13) Assist with completion of compensation and benefit documentation.
14) Produce and submit reports on general HR activity HRIS (currently Workday/EV5).
- Prepares and processes a complete range of personnel actions including hires, rehires, terminations, transfers, pay changes, etc.
15) Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends, laws, and best practices.
16) Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
This is a “on site” position, with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
