Role:

Splunk Professional Services (PS) is a dynamic and expanding division that plays a crucial role in the success of our customers, employees, and organization. Our PS Project Coordinators guide customers, partners, and Splunk teams through project implementations by leveraging a blend of managerial and technical competencies. They are exceptionally organized, effective communicators, and possess a genuine drive for achieving successful customer outcomes. If you excel at managing a range of projects with varying complexities and have experience in project management best practices, consultancy, and leading tech implementation projects, then this position could be the perfect challenge for you. Our objective is not only to ensure the success of our customers but also to elevate your project management skills to new heights.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee project kickoff and closure tasks
  • Collaborate with customers to determine scheduling and submit resource requests for technical implementation
  • Comprehend customer technical requirements and any necessary onboarding procedures
  • Work with other PS team members to ensure timely and budget-compliant project deliveries
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical project plans that align with statements of work (SOWs)
  • Provide prompt and precise status updates to all stakeholders upon request
  • Handle and resolve technical project escalations efficiently, while managing customer expectations
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with Splunk, partners, and customers
  • Identify and advocate for opportunities where Splunk products and services can meet additional customer needs
  • Stay informed on Splunk products, industry best practices, and project management skills through continuous learning
  • Manage various operational reports to ensure data accuracy within FinancialForce
  • Synchronize Estimated vs. Actual time delivery through timecard verification and reconciliation
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in project management or service delivery management in a client-facing capacity
  • Proven track record of leading customer projects with cross-functional teams using waterfall and agile approaches
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver effective executive presentations with confidence and strong interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
  • Capability to excel in a fast-paced, evolving environment while working independently and remotely from team members
  • Preferably a BA/BS degree in business management, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work background
  • Experience in a software vendor environment is advantageous
  • Familiarity with Professional Services tools like Professional Services Automation, CRM, and Project Management tools such as FinancialForce, Salesforce, Jira, Smartsheets

  • 10:00am CST - 7:00pm CST (AMER West)
  • 7:00am CET - 4:00pm CET (EMEA)
  • 9:00am CET - 6:00pm CET (EMEA)
