Project Manager III – Job Summary

The Project Manager III leads, plans, and controls projects within the Technology Group, ensuring execution within established timelines, budgets, scope, and quality standards. The role manages digital project-traceability tools (PLM, SAP, CRM/C2, MS Project, Teams, Planner) and ensures alignment with the Stage-Gate methodology and the Quality Management System (QMS).

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Lead and document technological, product, tooling, continuous improvement, and CAPEX/OPEX projects.
  • Prioritize incoming requests, assign project codes, and ensure correct structure under Stage-Gate.
  • Track progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain project traceability across all corporate systems and ensure completion of all stage deliverables.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Facilitate communication among R&D, Manufacturing, Materials, Sales, Procurement, and Quality teams.
  • Conduct follow-up meetings, gate reviews, and progress committees.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders.
  • Assign roles, responsibilities, and resources based on project requirements.

Tools & Documentation Management

  • Administer PLM, MS Project, Planner, Teams, and CRM/C2 for project control.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, proper data entry, meeting minutes, and timely reporting.
  • Oversee technical documents, performance metrics, and version control.

Technical Oversight & Compliance

  • Monitor all project categories (ALIEN, STRANGER, RUNNERS).
  • Validate documentation before production handoff.
  • Ensure alignment with QMS and compliance with ISO/IATF standards.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to optimize project processes and cross-department communication.
  • Support training in methodologies such as Stage-Gate, Agile, and Lean.
  • Promote standardization and best practices within the Technology Group.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience

  • 6–8 years managing cross-functional technical projects.
  • Proven experience with Stage-Gate, product development, tooling, industrialization, and ERP/PLM/CRM systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience mentoring junior project managers.

Languages

  • English: Advanced (C1)
  • Spanish: Native or Fluent

Technical Knowledge

  • Expert understanding of Stage-Gate.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP, PLM, CRM/C2, MS Project, Teams, and Planner.
  • Ability to assess feasibility, prototypes, tooling, and cost structures.
  • Knowledge of CAPEX/OPEX project management and ISO 9001 / IATF 16949.

Preferred Certifications

  • PMP or equivalent
  • Stage-Gate or NPI training
  • Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt)
