As a Pricing Specialist on the North American Pricing Team, you will be responsible for reviewing and executing price setting requests, deals, and rebates across all Product Business Units (PBUs), including Consumer, Commercial, Aviation, Race, and Mickey Thompson. You'll collaborate with Sales Enablement, Category, and Sales Teams to support deal negotiations and ensure pricing aligns with customer and product strategies. This role leverages data and business insights to guide informed pricing decisions, optimize margins, and support rebate execution. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset to influence future pricing strategies and drive business impact.

What You'll Do

  • Manage B2B and B2C pricing using the Vendavo Pricing System, including MAP policy enforcement and eCommerce pricing updates.
  • Review and process incoming deals and rebates across all PBUs using Vendavo's Deal Manager, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
  • Act as a go-to expert for pricing and billing issues, offering Level 1/Level 2 support to Sales and Billing teams and guiding internal clients on pricing systems and processes.
  • Partner with Sales, Sales Enablement, Category Teams, and the Akron Pricing COE to support deal negotiations and identify margin improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor discount guidelines and approval flows, ensuring adherence to business rules and maintaining SOX-compliant pricing processes.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • 3 or more years of experience in Sales, Business Support, Operations or related functions in consumer goods organization.
  • 1 or more years of experience with B2B and B2C Pricing.
  • Experience with SAP and pricing systems/tools preferred.

  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (e.g.: XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, etc.)
  • Experience working in a fast-changing environment that requires critical thinking, results-oriented decision making and a commitment to excellence.
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Knowledge of Price Management Tools and Processes (as part of the Pricing Function).
  • Working knowledge of Vendavo and other related Goodyear Systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to compile and synthesize inputs in order to generate Business Insights.
  • Strong French communication skills (written and verbal).
